Man this season has been a lot of work so far for sure, and just think it`s only halfway done. Gambatte ya`ll……  are we having fun yet?  All I know is that I`m really looking forward to the second part of the season. Got a bit of a scare the other day with my shoulder but everything is OK, and I have always been a warrior so all is well. 今シーズンはすでにかなりハードワークをこなしてきた気がするけど、でもまだ半分しか終わってないんだよね．．．．（選手もスタッフもファンも）みなさん、ガンバッテいきましょう！　みんなはシーズンを楽しんでくれているかな？僕的には後半戦をとっても楽しみにしている。この前の試合で肩を強く打ってヒヤっとしたけど大丈夫。僕は常に「戦士」だから戦っていけるはず。だからもう一度みんなで一緒に優勝への道を駆け昇っていこう！きっと色々な試練が待ち構えているだろうけど、楽しい道のりになると思う。

It was a great season.....didn`t get the  prize,  however we did do well.  Hopefully we can build on that for  next season!  I just want to again thank our great fans for their support  all year round......it was an even better year with you guys behind us all the  way all the time,  One of many reasons why I am so looking  forward to next year!  Till then,  it`s resting a bit,  and then  go right back to work for me.......so till next season.......love ya`ll,   good nite!  Late Mr. Fury

今シーズンは良いシーズンでした。優勝は逃したけれどチームとしてはよくやったと思うし、また来シーズンに向けての目標ができました。改めてブースターの皆さんのサポートに感謝したいと思います。みんなの応援がなかったらこんなに良い一年にはならなかったでしょう。またみんなに会うのが来シーズンの楽しみの一つです。それまで、僕はちょっと体を休めてトレーニングに戻りたいと思います。

and this week.......

Well we all know that my old team is up next at own home for the first time........so this will be a very big big game for me.......for my own personal reasons!  However,  the Five Arrows also understand that we need to maintain the speed we are  moving at now,  so we shall not be looking past this team.....despite their record,  they ARE a dangerous team who just so happen to be playing well.....so going in we know we must keep focus,  maintain our winning ways,  and not allow this team to steal any games from us........will you come and find out what happens next??  We can always use more support.......so tell your friends about us....and how we are a fun thing to watch on Shikoku weekends

ついに今週は・・・

みんなも知っている通り、今週末はホームで初めて僕が昔いたチームと対戦する。だから、僕個人にとってはとっても重要なゲームなんだ。でも、ファイブアローズとしても、今の勢いを保つために、まずはこのチームに集中しなければいけない。順位はどうであれ埼玉ブロンコスは手強い相手だし、最近は特に調子をあげている。だから、今週の試合を絶対落とさないようにするためにも、集中を保ってファイブアローズらしい勝ち方で勝利したいと思っている。みんな、結果がどうなるか確かめに来てくれるよね？もっともっと色々な人に僕達をサポートしてほしいから、「四国で週末にこんな面白いことがあるんだよ！」って友達に話してファイブアローズのことを広めてください！

さて、現在１２勝１０敗という成績は悪くはない・・・けれど決して良いとも言えない！

まずは、この場を借りて、この２週間アウェイ戦に応援に来てくれたブースターにお礼を言いたい。みんなの応援はすごく心強かったよ！きっとみんなも遠征を楽しんでくれたことと思います。もちろんホームゲームに来てくれるブースターみんながアウェイにも来れたらいいのにと思うけれど、それは現実的に難しい。そのかわり、もっとテレビで僕たちの試合を放映してくれればきっとみんな見てくれるのにね。。。それが無理でも、インターネットで配信されているbjtvや、ｂｊリーグサイトの速報とかを見て応援してくれている人たちも多いはず。最近の負け方は正直辛いけれど、少なくともそこから学んで次に繋げられることはあった。現在３位につけているという事実が証明しているように、ファイブアローズは確かに良いチーム。でも最強のチームになるまでにはまだまだ長い道のりがあるということをチームが実感したと思う。このまま一生懸命頑張り続ければ、きっと道は開かれる。みんなもファイブアローズの道のりを一緒に辿って応援し続けて欲しい！

P.S.　大分は高松のライバル。今まで何度も接戦を落としてきているので、最後にホームで大分と対戦するときには絶対負けないよう、皆さんの力を貸してください！！

Well 12 and 10 is not a bad record......but it`s not that good either !!  I would like to take this time(first and foremost though) to thank all the road fans these past two weeks,  ya`ll have been very inspiring to all of us,  and I hope you have enjoyed yourself while you have been on the road with us.  Of course I wish that everyone that comes to our home games could be with us on the road but we all know that this is just not possible,  however I know you WOULD watch and support us 1)  if one of these T.V.?@groups would show our games,  or 2) if you already do this ......(cool)  watch us on the net,  whether it be by BJ league t.v.  or reading play by play of the game while it`s being played.  Though it`s very hard losing the way we have lately,  at least something good has come from all this.......we know we are a good team (tied for 3rd place tells us this)  but that we should understand now,  that we have a long way to go to be a great team.....but if we continue to work hard,  we are so close to discovering it.  Hope ya`ll continue to join us on our journey! 

P.S. there is a rivalry building between Oita and Takamatsu.......be sure NOT to miss any(more)  of these games between two evenly matched teams!

Are we becoming a better working team?  One that helps each other during games,  toward a common goal(winning) ?  I hope so!  This weekend will be a good test of this new-found togetherness.......the top team comes to town.  If we can beat them,  we could be on our way to a special season......if not that will put us right back to where we don`t want to be,  nor should be.....EVEN!  (.500 that is)  One of these two teams from Takamatsu will show up.......the team that everyone loves to see play and win,  or the selfish team that doesn't get the job done!  Guess we`ll all just have to wait and see what happens.......I know I want to have a Merry Christmas & a Happy New Year......and the only way to have that before the break is to get these two W`s!!

最近のファイブアローズはチームとしてまとまってきているのでは？ゲーム中、同じ目標に向かってお互い助け合ってプレイするようなチームになれているのでは？きっとそうだと思う！今週は首位のチームをホームに迎えます。この試合は、本当の意味でファイブアローズが一体となれているか試す良い機会だと思う。もし新潟を倒すことができれば、このシーズンは特別なものなるだろうし、もし負けたら勝率五割に戻ってしまう・・・そうはしたくないし、絶対そうなってはダメだ！高松ファイブアローズには２つの側面があって、ひとつは、チームのみんなが一緒になって戦って勝つことを目指している。もうひとつは、それぞれのやるべきことをせずにワガママなプレイをしてしまう。どちらかの結果になるだろうけど、実際どうなるかはその場になってみないと分からないね・・・。でも自分はハッピーなクリスマスと新年を迎えたい！そのためには絶対に2連勝してみせるよ！！

I`m very happy with our two wins, but we are far from over as far as the preseason goals are concerned. This up coming week as you all know, not only do we travel to two different places (nigata and saitama) but we also have 3 games in 3 days! This is yet another test (and a good one at that) before the season kicks off.......if we can come out of this with 3 wins, we shall riding our high emotions straight into the season opener (in Oita if you didn’t know) and there is no telling where all this energy will take us. It’s exciting to me, I just hope it’s the same for all of ya’ll out there who are our fans (cus without ya’ll we are nobody) Ohhhhh, thankx for all the love I have been receiving in the streets.........that goes a long way with me, so keep it coming......it will only make me play better!! プレシーズンゲーム二戦連勝！とってもうれしいです。でもプレシーズンゲームはまだまだ続きます。皆さんも知っているとおり、今週末から遠征で新潟と埼玉に行ってきます。しかも3日間続けて3連戦！でもこれはシーズン開幕前に自分たちを試す良い試練でもあります。もし3連勝できれば、その勢いにのってシーズンの初戦（大分での）に臨むことができるでしょう！それが自分たちにとって大きな自信に繋がることは言うまでもありません！今からすごくワクワクしています。ファンの皆さんも僕と同じような気持ちでいてくれていると思います。僕たちは皆さんの力なしではありえません！そうそう、街で会ったときに声をかけてくれたり、いつも応援してくれて本当にありがとう。皆さんの応援はすごく励みになるので、これからも僕を見かけたら是非声をかけてくださいね！きっと良いプレーをお見せしますよ!

I’m Isaac Sojourner from the United States of America.  I came to Japan for what will be in October, 7 years now!  It’s been up and down for me since being here, but I have had more good times than bad ones, so that’s a good thing!  As for basketball, been playing for a long long time,  this will be going on my 26^th year playing basketball,  so I’ll be looking forward to winning a championship this year,  since I don’t really like waiting for anything........it must be now!  I really like it here in Takamatsu, I have a feeling it will be a great place to watch my family grow up and also get to know my teammates and our community better.  Hope to see all ya’ll supporting Five Arrows Basketball……it’s fixing to be a grrrreat year.  Mr. Fury

アメリカ出身のアイザック・ソジャナーです。この10月で、日本に来て7年目になります！日本に来てからは色々大変なこともありましたが、今振り返ると楽しいことの方がたくさんあったので、来て良かったと思っています。バスケット歴はすごく長くて、バスケを始めて26年。もう無駄にしている時間はないので、今年は絶対優勝します！高松はとても良いところで、家族と一緒に生活するには素晴らしい環境だと思うし、これからもっとチームメートや地元の人たちと知り合っていきたいです。ファイブアローズのバスケットを応援してくれる皆さんとお会いできるのを楽しみにしています。この一年は“超～”良い年にするぞ！Mr.Fury
